Comes with a few new eye markings for cats and dogs that can be found in the Head region, as these are really common in real life but nowhere to be seen in TS3.Was necessary to get the whiskers to work anyway. Replaced the buggy black catch light on their eyes with a drawn one.Cats also received texture tweaks, although not as noticeable, and I’ve slightly tweaked the face model of both pets to make them look ever so slightly better.Most noticeable change being the new face texture for dogs and the addition of whiskers for both pets, the latter being more noticeable on cats.And, in my opinion, the modded version looks WAY better than the vanilla version.This is kind of a collection of different tweaks I’ve made to the look of pets. Lastly, here are two comparison screenshots. So again, this is a must-have mod as it can improve overall image quality. What’s funny is that the backlight of the vanilla version can be really distracting. The second mod removes the character backlight effect, making all characters look more realistic. Below you can also find some screenshots that showcase the improved lighting effects.
Do note that this mod currently overhauls three stages (future versions will improve more stages). You can download this stage lighting mod from here. There are 4-5 of these spotlights illuminating the stage and they all cast real-time shadows. The mod dims all the default stage lights of several stages to about 10%, then places some attractive spotlights around that highlight details like skin, fabric, sweat and muscle definition. Going into more details, this first mod introduces realistic lighting in stages. These mods attempt to make the game less cartoony and a bit more realistic.
